Prospect Summary

Oracle Resources, after acquiring a farmin from Mitchell Energy Corporation in year 2000, on three of their producing fields; Hortense, Leggett and Seven Oaks, brought in Comstock Resources to operate the drilling of several infield Woodbine development wells. During this period, Oracle also enlisted Comstock to drill and operate several Woodbine wells in the Sugar Creek field with Oracle as a partner.

Oracle acquired a farmin from Vernon E. Faulconer, Inc. on our Damascus in-field development program. XTO is our operator in this continued in-field program. Damascus Prospect is located along the Angelina/Polk county line, 8 miles south of Diboll, Texas. Oracle Resources and XTO have reinterpreted the field and believe that the field area exhibits highly compartmentalized reservoirs with significant infill / extension locations remaining to be drilled. A reserve evaluation indicates from material balance that approximately 45 BCF of reserves can be added from primary development and because of the depositional nature of the producing sands; there is a strong possibility that continued drilling may identify new reservoirs.
