The exploration staff of Oracle Resources has evaluated and mapped
large-scale exploration and development projects in the Woodbine in
East Texas, the Hosston and Cotton Valley in East Texas and North
Louisiana, the Frio, Yegua, and Wilcox in the Upper Texas Gulf Coast,
the Hunton and Morrow in the Anadarko Basin, the Woodford Shale
in southern Oklahoma, and the Bakken Shale in the Williston Basin.
Oracle Resources
Oklahoma, formerly a subsidiary of Oracle Resources, LTD initiated
the Woodford Shale gas play in the Ardmore Basin of Oklahoma, accumulating
nearly 40,000 net acres and drilling eight proof-of-concept wells
which were sold, together with our pipeline company, Jet Transport
LLC to Chesapeake Energy Corporation in July of 2007.
Oracle Resources
caused the acquisition of the initial 200 square mile 3-D seismic
south of the Cretaceous shelf edge in southern Polk County, Texas
for exploration targets including Lower Cretaceous carbonates, the
Deep Woodbine, the Austin Chalk, and the tertiary sands of the Wilcox,
Yegua, Cockfield, and Miocene. Oracle Resources has participated
in several wells in the play and continues to explore therein.
